Company History
Jeff has been racing since 1993 when he ran a 100-lap Enduro in a car provided by the track
through a random draw. He won that race and has had a lot of success everywhere he's raced since.
Some pictures of Jeff's pavement racecars are included in the Photo Gallery on this site. He
moved up a class every other year after winning many races in each previous class. Jeff holds
many track records in many classes. He moved to Iowa in 2003, and found the competition to be
fierce, with many of the racers racing the same class of cars on the same dirt tracks for as
long as Jeff has raced.
Jeff started building his own cars and now offers his services to build you one! He started
building Front Wheel Drive Hornets in 2005, and has continued to build race ready FWD's and
cages in customers' cars through the past several years to help new racers get into this great
sport the right way - inexpensively and safely! There are never any hidden costs and every car
he builds is done right!
In order to service his customers with good setup and driving techniques for FWD's, Jeff has
raced in several FWD events. His first race came at the end of 2006 at a special event
at Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa. He won the event and then sold the car the next day.
(The same car won the Shelby County Speedway 2007 Points Championship with new owner, Terry
Romick, behind the wheel.) Jeff then entered a 200-lap Enduro at Eagle Raceway in Eagle,
Nebraska. He climbed to second place from his 34th place starting spot before suffering a flat
tire from contact with a lapped vehicle. After three total flat repairs in the race, he ended
up finishing 6th. (That car went to Illinois and won three Features in 2007). In 2007 Jeff won a
100-lap Enduro at Eagle Raceway to start the season off and then raced a FWD in some weekly
events and specials at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska, where he was able to fine tune the
necessary suspension and driving adjustments to consistently bring his FWD's to the front of the
pack. He won three events and finished 2nd three other times in eight starts. Jeff has no future
plans to race FWD's at this time. Now that he has a good idea what it takes to set them up and
drive them to the front, he is excited about working with his customers and passing that
information on to them.
JnJ Fabrication tries to keep on hand several race ready FWD's. Contact Jeff about purchasing
a race ready car or to have him build a custom car for you. Visit the For Sale section to view
the cars currently available.
Jeff is also always looking to buy running FWD cars to build as well as good used racing seats.
Contact Jeff if you have anything available.
